Privacy Statement

The personal data and email addresses entered into the system will be used only for the Journals' publishing purposes. The Editors respect the principle of confidentiality, which means the  information about the authors, reviewers and readers registered on the journal website will not be disclosed to unauthorsized parties. Parties authorized to have the abovementioned information are: editors and publisher.

Information on the processing  of the Author(s) and Reviewers' personal data 

On the basis of art. 13 (or/and) 14 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC ( General Data Protection Regulation) (Journal of Laws EU L.2016.119.1 of 04.05.2016 - hereinafter: GDPR or Regulation), we would like to inform you that:

I. Administrator of Personal Data:

The Administrator of Personal Data of the Author(s)/ Reviewers is University of the National Education Commission, Krakow (postal address: ul. Podchorążych 2, 30-084 Kraków, website: www.up.krakow.pl). The Personal Data Administrator can be contacted via the e-mail address: info@uken.krakow.pl or in writing to the correspondence address above.

II. Data Protection Inspector:

Author(s)/Reviewers can contact the Data Protection Inspector designated by the Administrator in matters concerning: the processing of personal data, exercising the rights regarding the processing of personal data by writing to the e-mail address info@uken.krakow.pl, or the Administrator's postal address indicated in point I.

III. Purposes of personal data processing:

The university processes personal data in order to prepare and implement the publishing contract in accordance with art. 6 clause 1 letter b) of the Regulation (EU), in particular: reaction to information sent to the Publishing House using the contact form/e-mail, implementation of the publishing process related to the publication of the work of the Author(s), publication of the name, surname, degree or academic title and affiliation of the Author(s), sharing data with other entities related to the publishing process, to databases and other information, promotional and scientific portals, sending original numbers of printed works.

IV. Recipients of personal data:

The collected personal data may be made available to public entities and bodies authorized to process personal data based on the provisions of generally applicable law and entities processing personal data at the request of the administrator in connection with the performance of the task entrusted to them.

V. Period of storage of personal data of the Author(s)/Reviewers:

Personal data collected on the basis of art. 6 paragraph 1 lit. b) Regulations (EU), will be processed for a maximum of 50 years from the date of signing the contract.

VI. Rights of data subjects:

Author(s)/Reviewers have the right to: access their data (information about data processed by the Data Administrator), including obtaining a copy of the data. The law will be implemented to the extent technically and legally possible, rectification (correction of data when it is inconsistent with the actual state), deletion or limitation of data processing in cases provided for by law. The collected personal data are not subject to automated decision making, including profiling.

VII. Supervisory authority in the field of personal data:

The supervisory body in the field of personal data is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. Author(s)/Reviewers, in the case where the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the Regulation, have the right to lodge a complaint to the above-mentioned supervisory authority.
