Information For Readers

Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis. Studia Linguistica (ISSN 2083-1765) is an annual issued by the official Publishing House of the University of the National Education Commission, Krakow.

Studia Linguistica is a forum for research papers on various phenomena and issues revolving around the Polish language, both from the synchronous and diachronic perspectives. We are interested in texts whose research problems are embedded in the following branches of linguistics:  pragmalinguistics, cognitivism, sociolinguistics, ethnolinguistics, dialectology, stylistics, onomastics, semantics, translation studies, didactics or media linguistics.

The annual is addressed primarily to linguist-researchers, both from Poland and abroad, and to those generally interested in humanities.

We encourage our readers to register at our website to subscribe to the latest texts published in our Journal. Prior to registering, the Readers should learn about our Privacy policy. There are no fees required upon registration.

The access to the published volumes of Studia Linguistica  is open and free of charge. All of the published texts can be downloaded for free from the Journal’s main website. The articles are published under the Creative Commons CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0  (attribution, non-commercial use, no derivative works).
