The nomenclature of Hemorrhagic Fevers: a Polish‑Italian comparative perspective (gorączki krwotoczne / febbri emorragiche)

Abstract
The article presents preliminary findings from a comparative study of Polish and Italian nosological names within the narrow and heterogeneous category of viral diseases known as hemorrhagic fevers. The analysis includes a total of 54 Polish and 49 Italian terms corresponding to 19 nosological units identified as hemorrhagic fevers. The study focuses on selected aspects, particularly structural analysis and naming strategies employed in both languages.
